Transactional and Environmental Risk Insurance: Opportunities and Legal Challenges Uncovered!
The build-up in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) has fueled the increasing demand for transactional risk insurance from all sectors in the United States. This type of insurance includes warranty and indemnity (W&I) or representations and warranties (R&W) insurance, tax liability and other contingent liability solutions. Transactional risk insurance practice has been well-utilized in Asian countries, as private equity firms seek ways to reduce if not mitigate indemnity requirements in their buying and selling transactions. To date, numerous U.S and Asia-Pacific companies have become more comfortable with using transactional risk insurance as a common risk-mitigation tool for dealmakers.
In a two-hour LIVE Webcast, a panel of thought leaders and professionals assembled by The Knowledge Group will provide the audience with an in-depth discussion of the fundamentals as well as recent developments concerning transactional insurance.
