Lee Gray relies on two decades of experience to help manufacturers and food & beverage producers with a variety of product-related issues, including product liability litigation, product recalls, regulatory compliance, and resolving commercial disputes.

Marisa Maleck is a member of the Appellate, Constitutional, and Administrative Law practice, who focuses on appeals, dispositive motions, and strategic counseling, including at the trial and appellate level, in both state and federal courts. She is a former law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court of the United States and to Judge William H. Pryor Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She has extensive experience representing companies that sell FDA-regulated products, including food and beverages. She has achieved several dismissals of cases involving allegedly false advertising and labeling, including cases involving “natural” claims and other nutrient content claims.
Geoff is a senior counsel at Hanson Bridgett LLP with a litigation practice is focused on defending consumer class actions and other complex business litigation. Geoff litigates and counsels his clients regarding diverse claims including unfair business practices, false advertising, fraud, California’s Consumers Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), California’s Automatic Renewal Law (ARL), contract disputes, and regulatory matters. Geoff also has substantial experience litigating class claims regarding the use of the term “natural” on food product labeling. He has represented clients in a wide range of industries and has also counseled clients on food labeling regulatory issues.
