What’s New in the Trademark Law Landscape: Regulatory Trends and Challenges Explored
Recording Available: Thursday, October 22, 2020
The Trademark Modernization Act of 2020, a bipartisan, bicameral legislation which seeks to amend the U.S. trademark system, was introduced earlier this year in response to the growing number of fraudulent trademark filings. Primarily aimed to improve trademark application procedures and infringement remedies, the act’s provisions will shed light on several significant issues faced by patent applicants and owners.
With all these developments, it is of utmost importance that companies and their counsel keep abreast of the significant updates, issues, and challenges in this area of the law. Employing practical tips and tactics is critical to ensure compliance.
