The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has recently published the final CY 2016 Physician Fee Schedule rule, which modifies significant aspects of the Physician Self-Referral Law (Stark Law) and establishes new exceptions for Recruitment of Non-Physician Practitioners (NPPs) and Timeshare Arrangements to facilitate compliance and lessen regulatory burdens.
