Charles M. Russman is the leader of Bodman PLC’s Data Privacy and Security practice. He helps clients address privacy and security concerns by establishing and clarifying record retention policies, training employees on privacy and security policies to protect customer data, and addressing privacy breaches such as hacking or loss of customer data. Charles has worked with banks and financial services companies on financial and lending privacy matters, overall information security issues, and HIPAA and Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) compliance related to vendor agreements and associate agreements. He worked for the UK Office of Fair Trading, NatWest Bank and MasterCard before joining PayPal in May 2003 as their first employee outside the USA.
