Gary R. Pannone is the Managing Principal of Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O'Gara. He has been representing closely held business owners for over thirty years in a wide range of areas including business formations, corporate restructuring, mergers, acquisitions and corporate compliance. He is a prominent member of the legal community and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Attorney Pannone was recognized by his peers as metropolitan/Providence 2017 and 2018 Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers® in his practice areas. Attorney Pannone serves on several boards and governance committees of nonprofit organizations and leads the firm’s business law, health care and nonprofit organizations teams. Mark Jansen is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property group at Fenwick & West. Mark’s practice focuses on domestic and international trademark and trade name counseling, and strategies for developing and managing domain name portfolios. He advises clients from start-ups to multinational corporations on brand strategy and the protection of brand assets, including, brand creation, selection, protection, expansion, and enforcement. Mark has extensive experience in the social media and Internet space, both advising platforms in trademark matters and helping brand owners navigate social media.

Mark is active in the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) and the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Intellectual Property Law Section. In 2017, Super Lawyers honored him among the leading intellectual property lawyers in Northern California.

His representative clients include Cisco Systems, Facebook, GoPro, NVIDIA and Twitter.

Mark received his J.D. and a High Tech Law Certificate with honors from Santa Clara University School of Law, and earned his B.A. in history from the University of California, Los Angeles.

He is a member of the State Bars of California, New York and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
