Mr. Stovsky has extensive experience representing companies in a variety of industries and growth stages as outside counsel in IP and technology transactions, licenses, technology transfer and all forms of business process outsourcing (SaaS, IaaS and PaaS). He represents clients in the acquisition, divestiture and licensing of IP assets and rights, and the purchase and sale of intellectual property portfolios at private sale and auction. Mr. Stovsky represents SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and other cloud vendors in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures of businesses, IP aspects of M&A transactions, and corporate and securities matters including early stage, venture capital and private equity financings. He handles IP due diligence, acquisition and commercialization; information systems and information technology implementation transactions (including large scale, multi-site ERP and CRM implementation transactions), IT development, technology services, professional services, service level, large scale computer and telecommunications network services, equipment purchases, sales, licenses and maintenance deals.
In addition, Mr. Stovsky is experienced in open source software issues and licenses including IT reseller, Internet, eCommerce, healthcare IT (including electronic medical records software implementation) agreements.
