Employee Benefits and Identity Theft: Raising the Bar in 2017
As cyber threats becoming more prevalent each year, many businesses are strengthening their efforts against identity theft to protect one of their most valuable assets – their employees. After all, this asset may have access to sensitive proprietary information which can lead to corporate identity theft. Furthermore, financial losses from the costs of recovering from identity theft are too high - both for the victim and their employer. An employee, who becomes a victim of one of the fastest growing and most personally devastating non-violent crimes in the U.S., may also suffer from a lot of stress, inevitable absenteeism, and a range of issues that can be a major downtime impacting productivity.
Finding ways to retain and engage employees while managing cyber risk is challenging. In this light, The Knowledge Group has assembled a panel of cybersecurity professionals and industry leaders that will go beyond the basics of identity theft to help the audience reduce the risks, manage recovery, and ultimately protect the company’s bottom line. Speakers will also explain why identity theft protection should be added in employee benefits package and will provide a thorough examination of the methods used for prevention, detection, and resolution of identity theft and data security breaches.
Some of the major topics that will be covered in this course are:
