Cartel enforcement and investigations continue to grow in intensity globally. Recent developments show that countries are serious in their campaign for fair competition and trade regulation. U.S. cartel investigations continue into global industries such as electronics, financial products, pharmaceuticals, and transportation. The European Union has also imposed large fines last year with more than $1billion in case fines.
