Daniel is a partner in the U.S. restructuring group. He has extensive experience in cross-border business reorganizations and financial restructurings. Daniel has represented debtors, creditors, creditors' committees, and appointed foreign representatives in chapter 11 cases and chapter 15 cross border cases under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, and in out-of-court restructurings. He also has advised parties in a wide range of financing and capital markets transactions, including loan originations.
Daniel served as a member of the “EU Cross-Border Insolvency Court-to-Court Cooperation Principles and Guidelines” project sponsored by the European Commission and International Insolvency Institute (III). He has also served as a member of the LSTA Bankruptcy Reform Working Group.
