Amelia Gerlicher, Counsel at Perkins Coie LLP, assists clients in addressing issues arising from their possession of personal data, from its collection and use through the aftermath of security breach incidents. A member of the firm’s Privacy & Security group, her litigation experience includes actions arising from a variety of online activity, including cases brought under the federal Wiretap Act, the Stored Communications Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and state privacy laws. She also works with clients on consumer protection, intellectual property and contract issues, including defending clients against illegal malicious behavior that interferes with their websites.
