A Comprehensive Guide on Sales and Use Tax: Demystifying Trends, Developments, and Legal Challenges
Recording Available: Wednesday, May 12, 2021
Emerging trends and developments have brought sweeping changes to the sales and use tax landscape. In recent years, economic nexus legislations, following the South Dakota vs. Wayfair decision, have continuously affected corporations from various states. Adding to the challenges are the impacts brought by COVID-19, which include cash flow and state obligation issues. In response, new rules for deferral reliefs on sales and use tax filing and payment have now been laid down.
Practitioners must, therefore, constantly monitor potential risks to address arising issues. Effective compliance practices and strategies are deemed vital to mitigate legal liabilities and ensure compliance.
Listen as a panel of distinguished professionals and thought leaders organized by The Knowledge Group provide the audience with the latest updates and developments in sales and use tax. Speakers, among other things, will offer helpful insights to carefully manage the gray areas considering the latest provisions.
In a LIVE Webcast, the speakers will discuss:
