Online CPE Cannabis Industry

There is no denying that as more and more states legalize medical and recreational cannabis, its popularity continues to soar. Legal marijuana sales have grown by billions each year and are projected to reach more than $20 billion by 2020. However, because the industry is still considered illegal under the current federal law, investment in the cannabis market can become treacherous. Valuing a cannabis-related business is challenged by unique issues and uncertainties, including income taxes, the banking industry's reluctance to get involved in the cannabis industry, and the Department of Justice's stance on marijuana enforcement. These and many other factors must be taken into consideration to find the proper value for a cannabis business.

Listen as a panel of distinguished professionals organized by The Knowledge Group provide the audience with an overview of the 2018 valuation trends and metrics in the cannabis industry. They will discuss the issues and factors that may affect the value of a cannabis business.
