Online CLE ADA Litigation

Join us for this Knowledge Group Online CLE ADA Litigation Webinar. The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) specifically protects the civil rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and guarantees them with equal opportunities for public accommodations, employment, and other services like telecommunications. Most Americans are familiar with the ADA, or at least have heard about it. However, the rapidly growing number of federal lawsuits alleging several organizations violating the ADA proves that only a few know exactly what this crucial law requires. Many of these organizations find themselves in the muddy waters of ADA litigation.

Join a panel of key thought leaders and ADA defense professionals brought together by The Knowledge Group as they go beyond the basics and provide answers to some of the most often asked questions about the ADA.

The panel will also discuss, but not limited to:

  1. History, Structure and Coverage of Title III of the ADA
  2. The Impact of Other Federal, State and Local Laws on Litigation Pursuant to Title III of the ADA
  3. Enforcement Mechanisms Available Under the ADA
  4. Tactics of Serial Litigators
  5. Early Selection and Use of Experts in Litigation
  6. Venue Considerations
  7. The Potential Impact of the ADA Education and Reform Act, HR 620
  8. The New Frontier-Website Accessibility Under the ADA
  9. Final Thoughts-Ways to Limit Exposure to Litigation
  10. Question and Answer
