Robert Freedman co-heads the Firm’s global Sustainable Development and Energy groups, and his practice focuses on finance and development, asset acquisitions and dispositions, and complex work-outs and restructurings of infrastructure assets, including renewables and sustainable development. His exposure with green bond transactions including the financings of: numerous solar power projects such as the Alamo 5 and Alamo 7 projects in Texas and a portfolio of projects owned by ConEd Development in California; LS Power’s Seneca Hydro Project in Pennsylvania; and Sempra Energy’s Broken Bow II wind power project in Nebraska. Robert is recognized as a “highly respected” and a leading lawyer in project finance publications, and widely quoted in news publications on matters relating to renewables and other infrastructure sectors.
