Joël Van Over is a partner in Pillsbury’s Government Contracts & Disputes group. She has practiced in government contracts and litigation for more than 25 years.
In addition to assisting clients in navigating the myriad standards that apply to U.S. government contracts, and other federal funding agreements (e.g. grants, cooperative agreements, strategic partnerships, CRADAs), Joël has extensive experience in intellectual property and other issues affecting regulated industries. She has successfully litigated cases on behalf of government contractors and subcontractors in court, administrative proceedings and arbitration. A first chair trial attorney since 1991, Joël is known for her creativity, tenacity, strategic case planning, thoroughness and ability to integrate clients’ business interests into overall strategy.
