A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Hal practiced as an intellectual property and antitrust litigator at an Am Law 100 Wall Street firm before embarking on a career in technology that now spans 20 years. He has performed general counsel and executive roles in sales, marketing, and product management at such notable companies as Thomson Reuters, LiveNote, LexisNexis, Law.com, and Evolve Discovery (Ubic). An active writer and speaker, Hal has presented hundreds of seminars, led user conferences, and been published by Legaltech News, ILTA, Corporate Counsel, and the ABA Litigation Section.
