MCLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in Kentucky shall complete twelve (12) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least two (2) credit hours of ethics.
Compliance Deadline: June 30
Reporting Deadline: August 10
Compliance Cycle: Annual
Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group does not automatically submit CLE application for all our programs in Kentucky. Attendees seeking approved credits shall register at least 40 days prior to the event. Attendees may send an email to [email protected] for more information.
Program Format: The Knowledge Group LIVE Webcasts qualify as live programs in Kentucky. There is no limit to the number of credits a Kentucky attorney can earn via live programs. View our list of LIVE Webcasts.
The Knowledge Group Recorded Webcasts qualify as non-live programs in Kentucky. Attorneys are limited to six (6) credit hours of non-live programs per compliance period. View our list of Recorded Webcasts.
Attendance Reporting Procedure: The Knowledge Group submits attendance report for approved courses to Kentucky CLE Commission.
For Newly Admitted Attorneys: Newly-admitted attorneys in the state of Kentucky Association are required to complete the New Lawyer Program within 12 months of admission, unless they have practiced in another jurisdiction for a minimum of five years and apply for an exemption.
