GEORGIA CLE REQUIREMENTS
Whether you’re an experienced or newly admitted Georgia attorney, here’s what you need to be in the know about the GA CLE rules and how to get your Georgia CLE Requirements fulfilled with a Knowledge Group CLE Bundle.
Georgia CLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in Georgia shall complete twelve (12) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least one (1) credit hour of ethics, one (1) credit hour of professionalism and three (3) credit hours of trial (only required for trial attorneys).
Compliance Deadline: December 31
Reporting Deadline: March 31
Compliance Cycle: Annual
Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group does not automatically submit CLE application for all our programs in Georgia. Attendees seeking approved credits should send an email to email@example.com for more information.
Georgia CLE Program Format: The Knowledge Group webcasts qualify as In-House/Self-Study CLE in Georgia. Attorneys are limited to six (6) credit hours of In-House/Self-Study CLE per compliance period. View our list of LIVE Webcasts and Recorded Webcasts.
GA CLE Requirements Reporting Procedure: The Knowledge Group submits attendance report for approved courses to Georgia CCLC.
For Newly Admitted Attorneys: Newly-admitted attorneys in the state of Georgia after June 30, 2005 are required to complete the State Bar of Georgia Transition Into Law Practice Program in the year of his or her admission or in the next calendar year. Such completion shall satisfy the mandatory continuing legal education requirements for such newly admitted active member for both the year of admission and the next succeeding year.
