CPE Credit (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners)
CPE Requirements: The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners requires CFEs to complete at least twenty (20) hours of continuing professional education. At least 10 of these hours must relate directly to the detection and deterrence of fraud and 2 hours must relate directly to ethics.
Compliance Deadline: end of month when membership expires
Reporting Deadline: end of month when membership expires
Compliance Cycle: Annual
Approval of Programs: CPE credit from any organization will be accepted as long as the course meets the requirements set for acceptable types of CPE credit and acceptable fields of study.

Attendance Reporting Procedure: CFEs are required to certify their compliance by the end of their anniversary month, which is the month their membership is renewed each year.
