CPD Requirements: The Law Society of British Columbia requires lawyers to complete at least twelve (12) hours of continuing professional development (CPD) in accredited educational activities including at least two (2) CPD hours of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, or practice management.

Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group is a pre-approved program provider by the Law Society of British Columbia.

Attendance Reporting Procedure: Attorneys must self-report their attendance in British Columbia.
For Newly Admitted Attorneys: New lawyers who have completed the bar admission program of a Canadian law society during the reporting year are exempt from the requirements for that year.
