MCLE Requirements: All attorneys admitted to practice in Colorado shall complete forty-five (45) credit hours of continuing legal education including at least seven (7) credit hours of legal ethics.

Compliance Cycle: Every three years
Approval of Programs: The Knowledge Group does not submit application for CLE credits in Colorado. TKG webcasts are pre-approved in California thus, attendees may claim credits in Colorado through reciprocity.
Program Format: The Knowledge Group LIVE Webcasts qualify as live programs in Colorado. There is no limit to the number of credits a Colorado attorney can earn via live program. View our list of LIVE Webcasts.
The Knowledge Group Recorded Webcasts qualify as homestudy courses in Colorado. There is no limit to the number of credits a Colorado attorney can earn via homestudy courses. View our list of Recorded Webcasts.
Attendance Reporting Procedure: The Knowledge Group does not submit attendance report to Colorado Board of CLE. Attorneys may earn credits through reciprocity. Submit a Colorado Affidavit form with the section entitled "accreditation in another (mandatory CLE) state" completed. Or, submit the "Uniform Certificate of Attendance" (provided by some sponsors of CLE programs) along with a statement certifying that the CLE program is accredited in another mandatory CLE state. Also, indicate the name of the state and the number of credits awarded by that state.
For Newly Admitted Attorneys: The first compliance period begins on the date of the attorney’s admission to practice law in Colorado, and ends on December 31 of the third full calendar year following the year of admission.
